NIVRA

The chartered accountants of CROP are affiliated to the Royal Netherlands Institute of Chartered Accountants (NIVRA). This is the statutory professional organisation of the approximately 14,000 chartered accountants in the Netherlands. The NIVRA looks after the interests of the chartered accountant profession. It ensures that the title of chartered accountant continues to represents a high-quality professional practice. NIVRA does this by promoting proper legislation and anchoring the training requirements for chartered accountants.

Another of its main tasks is promoting the quality of the professional practice of chartered accountants. To this end, NIVRA develops regulations and guidelines and ensures knowledge is accumulated and exchanged through technical committees.
